Wilbert A. Young, Chairman & CEO 

Mr. Young served two terms as Mayor of the Borough of Wilkinsburg, Pa. Prior to serving as Mayor; Mr. Young worked in the area of planning and community development, where he has more than thirty-five years of experience.  As a result of his overwhelming display of commitment to the redevelopment and revitalization of inner city communities through housing and business development, he was chosen to participate in the National Internship in Community Economic Development at the Development Training Institute. Wilbert was the Executive Director of the Hill Community Development Corporation, where he instituted one the most successful community revitalization program in the region. PNC, National City and Citizens Bank have nominated Young for the US Small Business Administration award for his work with small businesses in the Pittsburgh region.  

Mr. Young has approached community development from various avenues, lending his expertise as vice chairman of the Affordable Housing Council at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, serving as a past trustee of the Pittsburgh History & Landmark Foundation, and on the boards of the Landmark Development Corporation and the Neighborhood Housing Service. Wilbert was also a member of the local Fannie Mae advisory council. He is serving as a board member of Jack Rabbit Development a non profit that build housing for the Indian community. Wilbert is a member of the Harvard Club of Western Pennsylvania and Harvard Kennedy School Alumni Association. Mr. Young is also a member of the Dillard University Alumni Association and the Pratt Institute Alumni. He was staff director for the LA. Legislative Black Caucus, and went on to hold a number of positions on the local, state, and federal levels including the United States Congress where he worked on Capital Hill as a staff member in the U.S. House of Representatives. Former Mayor Young is an honorably discharged United States Army veteran.

John Young, Project Manager 

Is the project manager for GNCIG he is responsible for the management and development of all aspects of the development process. John has supervised the development of many of the affordable housing development. 

John has a degree in business from West Virgina State University
